Concept and Optical Performance

The GML BLINDER 400 IP is an IP65 all-weather 2-cell stage LED blinder engineered for audience illumination, dynamic strobe bursts, and broad stage wash on open-air festival rigs and touring productions. The optical system incorporates two 200W LED engines available in WW, tunable CW+WW, or RGBW configurations. A 15° optical lens array delivers a 50° beam angle with a 93° field angle.

Thermal Engineering and Housing

Constructed with a heavy-duty die-cast aluminum chassis, the fixture withstands harsh weather conditions while providing structural rigidity. Heat dissipation is managed via a static waterproof cooling fan with intelligent speed regulation and active thermal protection. Operating limits span from -40°C to +45°C with cold-start capability down to -20°C.

Control and Connectivity

Integrated control protocols include USITT DMX512 and RDM, supporting firmware updates directly over DMX signal lines. Channel modes provide 4/8 channels for RGBW, 1/5 channels for WW, and 2/6 channels for WW+CW. Configuration is handled through an onboard OLED display. Hardware connections feature weatherproof 3-pin XLR data sockets. Dimensions are 403 × 195 × 298 mm with a net weight of 6 kg.
